We were running a little late, so the food was all laid out when we got there. I'm not sure why no one is sitting next to his grandma. I guess she'll have to tackle all this food on her own.
Calvin got to spend some more quality time with his great-grandma. I think even she is baffled by how big he's gotten - his head is even bigger than hers!
Phil's grandma also got to spend some time with her other great-grandchild, Eva. She's a few months older than Calvin, but boy was she scared of him. She kept crying every time he came near. Eva was sitting on great-grandma's lap while she got ready to blow out the candles. Nobody is really sure exactly how old she is...we just know she's in her 80s...
