Mandy's Birthday

My sister's birthday was this past week, so we had her over for some cake. Before she and her husband arrived we went to Sonic's for a quick lunch with my mom. Now that Calvin is sturdier while he's walking we let him run around at Sonic's while we waited for our food. He was having fun flirting with all the girls.

We had to stop him though once he started heading for the road.


We all ordered hot dogs, with some tater tots. Calvin went straight for the hot dogs, even though he already ate. Such a big appetite - I wonder where he gets it from ^__^

Afterwards we headed home to have birthday cake with Mandy. Tam had bought the cake while they were in Boston. It was passion fruit cake with mango icing. So pretty! And this is only the top layer of the cake.

After we had cake Calvin and Maddy played some music for us with the toy tambourines that my mom got for them. So young and they've already started their own band.
