Quality Time with Calvin

Needless to say, with the arrival of Calvin we don't plan to get out very much. At least not until he gets a little bit older. Which means lots of baby pictures to follow for the next couple weeks. But who doesn't love a good baby picture? ^__~

Once we got Calvin home we were able to catch glimpses of him actually awake. The doctors and nurses said its normal for babies this young to sleep a lot, but if he's anything like Phil I have a feeling it's not something he'll grow out of...

He's cute when he's sleeping, but he's even cuter when he's awake - and so much more entertaining.

And sometimes he makes the best faces.


After getting back from the hospital we gave Calvin his first bath. He still has his umbilical cord stump, so it was just a sponge bath. He looks so scared and confused!


Now that he's clean he gets to spend some quality time with daddy.


Calvin has such a huge head in all of his pictures. When we first left the hospital they were worried about his weight because he had lost a bunch of weight in the first few days, but that doesn't seem to be an issue now. Hopefully the weight will get redistributed to the rest of his body too as he gets bigger...
