Cousins' Reunion '08 - Day 1

For July 4th weekend we went to Seattle to visit Phil's cousins for their annual Cousins' reunion. I don't quite fall in the cousin category, but they let me tag along. The trip started out to a rough start with some trouble with our rental car, but still everyone was very psyched to be there.

Our first stop was Safeco Field to watch the Mariners, more specifically ICHIRO!!! Well, I'm not really much of a sports fan, but what can I say, it's easy to get caught up in the moment. Here are all the cousins outside the ballpark - even Phil's sister, Winnie, was there...at least in spirit...

There were extreme garlic fries, some infamous Ichi Rolls, clam chowder and Nintendo DS...

Apparently there is a Nintendo stand at Safeco Field where you can link up your Nintendo DS to watch the ball game AND order food directly to your seat (for a 17% surcharge of course). Technology these days...Can you tell how happy Phil is with his new DS? I have to say that it did come in handy this trip with the flight and all the driving.
