That evening Phil's parents got back from a road trip of their own to North Carolina to see Phil's sister, Winnie. For dinner we met up with them at a Chinese restaurant called "Wonder Seafood Restaurant" not too far from our house. This was actually only the second Chinese restaurant I remember ever going to in New Jersey. I'm always a little skeptical of Chinese restaurants in New Jersey for some reason...Maybe it's because they usually look dinky on the outside.
We ordered several dishes including an oyster dish,
crispy noodles with beef and veggies
Fried tofu with shrimp
pork intestines with peppers, and a veggie dish.
The food was OK, but pricey, especially compared to NY Chinatown prices.
Phil gave it 4/5 stars. I thought it was more of a 3.5...
