Christmas Eve

It's Christmas Eve already. All the presents have been bought and desserts have been baked. After a quick workout Phil and I headed into New Brunswick for lunch. The plan was to go to a place called "Stuff Your Face", which is technically a bar but is supposed to have the best strombolis. But they were closed, so we settled for Mongolian BBQ. We were both bummed out about the strombolis, but Phil recovered quickly...that's one big bowl of noodles...

Then it was off to Bridgewater to my sister's place for Christmas Eve Dinner. Phil and I didn't really decorate this year, so the decorations at Mandy's definitely helped us feel more in the Christmas spirit. She had picked out a big christmas tree - it must have been 8 or 9 feet...It was decked out with all the lights and ornaments. If only our ceilings were tall enough for a tree that big!

Across from the tree was their fireplace that they deocrated with garland and hung all the stockings. I still have my giant Tweety head stocking, which is always too top heavy to hang and ends up on the floor...so sad...

For dinner Mandy cooked up some prime rib.

Prime rib + homemade vegetable soup + brocolli and cheese = yummy Christmas Eve dinner.

And for dessert - Ben & Jerry's ice cream!! I didn't even know they had single serving sizes. They were cute and delicious. ^__^
